> Watch Dogs 2 is a single-player open-world game by Ubisoft released in 2016. Since recent Ubisoft Connect / Easy Anti-Cheat updates in 2025, the game no longer launches properly. It shows as starting, then immediately closes and returns to the launcher, making it unplayable for many players. This is a purchased game, and single-player content should remain preserved and accessible regardless of online services. Right now, players need unofficial bypass workarounds just to access single-player. This game should be preserved and playable without requiring Ubisoft's broken launcher or EAC dependency.
